If your lock spins 360° when you try and lock/unlock the Retainer/Keeper is worn out and not keeping the lock in place. You will need to order a replacement 25-7FC1055-5 from Beechcraft.
Item 112 (25-7FC1055-5) on the IPC retains the lock in the shell
Item 114 (25FC8205-9) on the IPC retains the entire assembly on item 120
